Even the dumpster in the last shot will not detract from the awesomeness. BUT. it DID make me smile. :D You have fantastic expressions! Kudos to your lovely assistant too for her work--these are incredible.

Great armour! Just out of curiousity, is it SCA-approved for combat?

Actually, it probably would be with the addition of a kidney belt -- although I wouldn't suggest using it. It's designed to stop edged weapons, so there is no real padding to protect from blunt weapons. There's a set of legs to go with it, but I never really feel comfortable wearing leg armour... :worry:

The SCA makes quite a few concessions to safety that weren't found in historic armour, so it would take a little bit of tweaking. ;)
